ΝΟΜΟΣ ΥΠ' ΑΡΙΘ. 2997
Κύρωση της Συμφωνίας μεταξύ του Υπουργείου Μεταφορών και Επικοινωνιών της Γεωργίας και του Υπουργείου Μεταφορών και Επικοινωνιών της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας στον τομέα των Ταχυδρομείων.
Ο ΠΡΟΕΔΡΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗΣ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑΣ
Εκδίδομε τον ακόλουθο νόμο που ψήφισε η Βουλή:
Άρθρο πρώτο
Κυρώνεται και έχει την ισχύ που ορίζει το άρθρο 28 παρ. 1 του Συντάγματος η Συμφωνία μεταξύ του Υπουργείου Μεταφορών και Επικοινωνιών της Γεωργίας και του Υπουργείου Μεταφορών και Επικοινωνιών της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας στον τομέα των Ταχυδρομείων που υπογράφηκε στις 5 Μαΐου 2001, της οποίας το κείμενο σε πρωτότυπο στην αγγλική γλώσσα και σε μετάφραση στην ελληνική έχει ως εξής:

Article 3
The Parties will ensure the exchange of postal items directly between them without using postal services of other countries, except some special cases.
Article 4
The points of mail exchange between two countries for the surface mail are Thessaloniki for Georgia and Tbilisi for Greece and for the airmail Athens for Georgia and Tbilisi for the Greece.
Article 5
In the case of neccessity The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Georgia will ensure the responsibility to provide exchange of surface mail between Greece and Georgia from its regional offices in Tbilisi to the point of exchange and airmail using the direct flights.
Article 6
The Parties will ensure to allow the Postal administration to keep accounting for the mail exchange directly through their accounting offices.
Article 7
The Parties shall inform each other changes regarding the points exchange addresses or of any changes one in advance.
Article 8
Both Parties will ensure the transportation Of surface mail items without any obstacles on their territories.
Article 9
The Parties will ensure to provide technical assistance (training) to the staff executing the post between them.
Article 10
The Parties will encourage their Postal Administrations to develop strategic co-operations.
Each Party will facilitate both public and private enterprises from the other Party to develop activities in the domain of postal services.

Agreement
between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Georgia and the Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Hellenic Republic in the field of posts on implementation of the "Agreement between the government of the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Georgia concerning co-operation in the field of Telecommunication and Post».
The Ministry of transport and Communications of Georgia and Ministry of Transport and Communications of-Greece(hereinafter called as Parties), desiring to establish direct exchange of post and enhance transportation of postal items.
HAVE AGREED as follows:
Article 1
The collaboration between the Parties will be based on the acts ofUPU.
Article 2
The Parties will ensure that their public Postal Administrations will dispatch and transport the transit postal items via their territories by the quickest possible transport
